| Henk is Managing Partner with over 30 years of International Management and Business Advisory experience. Great part of his career he was International General Manager, driven by results on a pragmatic, people oriented and motivational basis. Areas of expertise include: Strategy and Organisation; Project and Interim Management; Supply Chain Management; Development of International Companies and Post Merger Consulting and Integration. He has a profound understanding of how differences in culture
and international co-operation affect business, gained while working
in the following industries: Manufacturing, Automotive, Aircraft
Maintenance, Retail and Distribution, Professional Services, Government,
Health Care and Hotel and Leisure. In the early nineties, as European Executive Partner he was responsible for the Post Merger Integration of KPMG Consulting in Europe. The creation of one single practice, based on international networking was aimed at the development of cross border co-operation between a large number of consulting practices in 25 countries. In this period some 35 international industry and expert groups were set up. He also had intensive working relations with the Americas and South Pacific. In addition, at KPMG Consulting in the Netherlands, he was Executive Manager in Interim Management (1988-91) and was Senior Consultant in Health Care Consulting (1985-88). From 1974 to 1985 he held various management functions in the hotel and leisure industry in Belgium, the Netherlands and former Yugoslavia. In the early eighties he also worked for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Finance.
Henk has degrees from the Interfaculteit Bedrijfskunde in Delft
and the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and the Hogere Hotelschool,
in Maastricht/Den Haag. Completely at home in English and Dutch,
he is also fluent in French and Portuguese and speaks reasonable
German and Italian. |
