Henk den Dekker

Henk brings over 30 years of International Management and Business Advisory experience. He is an International General Manager, driven by results on a pragmatic, people oriented and motivational basis. Areas of expertise include: Strategy and Organisation; Project and Interim Management; Supply Chain Management; Development of International Companies and Post Merger Integration.

He has a profound understanding of how differences in culture and international co-operation affect business, gained while working in various industries: Manufacturing, Automotive, Aircraft Maintenance, Retail and Distribution, Professional Services, Government, Health Care and Hotel and Leisure.

Prior to joining Trompenaars Hampden-Turner as a partner, Henk was the Managing Partner of KPMG Consulting in Portugal, which he started-up and developed into a group of professional consultants with international assignments in or with various companies from the United States, Hong Kong, Macao, UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and Ukraine.

Earlier he was the Executive partner for KPMG Consulting in Europe, facilitating the merger integration. In addition he was Executive in Interim Management for KPMG in the Netherlands and Senior Consultant in Health care and Life science. Until 1985 he held various management positions in the Hotel and Leisure industry throughout Europe.
