Theresa Sigillito Hollema
Theresa has focused her attention on cross-cultural management after
years of successfully managing multi-cultural projects and teams. Her
focus is on cross-cultural competence development, leadership development,
and the impact of culture on project management processes, teams and managers.
Her clients have included Philips, Maersk and The Linde Group.
Prior to associating with THT, Theresa led acquisition and post-integration
M&A projects in Central and Eastern Europe, software implementations,
and other strategic and operational projects. Due to her business background,
she has a practical approach to the learning and understanding of the
impact of culture in the business setting. Theresa’s underlying
conviction is that cultural competence is a key skill in a successful
leader’s toolbox.
Theresa began her career in accounting and financial positions before
receiving her MBA from the University of Michigan, where she was awarded
the Henry Ford II Award for academic excellence . For the past decade,
this American has worked extensively throughout Europe, continuing to
expand her geographical boundaries. In addition, Theresa is an active
member of the Board of European Professional Women’s Network –
Amsterdam, an organization which supports women leadership development
in Europe.
