Many current models of leadership are bi-polar and culturally biased.

For example American models have a tendency to believe in vision as a characteristic of a leader whilst competitive US models claim it is execution. Or is it courage? No it is caution. This is in great contrast with French models that rather go for males, born in Paris that have gone to one of the grands écoles. And what about Chinese models that proclaim the effectiveness of Yin/Yang, Mao and Tao. That’s all Okay if the Americans stay in the US, the French in France and the Chinese in China. What we see, however, is that the world is becoming a global village where all cultures mix.

What leadership model will work in a diverse team? You will be introduced to Servant Leadership as a process that can cope with different cultures for higher performance. Servant leaders, like Mandela or Gandhi, reconcile serving with leading and conclude with practical tips on how to develop a servant leadership mindset either as an individual, team or organization.
