Herken

We provided a comprehensive overview to different leadership styles to understand the basics of Servant Leadership. We used the Servant Leadership Profiler to increase the self-awareness of the participants on the Servant Leadership competence.

Respect

The objective of this ‘respect’ module was to explore and provide an understanding of different dilemma-focused research methods and techniques. After this module a start was made with fieldwork in a community project. In cross-company teams the participants examined Servant Leadership in societal practice to increase respect for cultural diversity. We used the Dilemma Scan to find out what the major dilemmas of each project.

Verzoenen

In this phase we helped participants to translate problems into dilemmas and taught them how to reconcile.

What are the similarities on Servant-Leadership challenges between the different organizations? We evaluated the learning outcomes for the different participating organizations and compared them across companies, to be able to focus on what it means to reconcile by serving.

Realiseer

In this module, we reflected on participants’ experience during their Community fieldwork, and practice the complexities of helping to explore how serving the community can bring about more effective leadership. We implemented double-loop feedback in their organization. This final stage involved presenting their findings to the Board of their organization and others of this learning community.
